Official Text Club & Contest Rules
1. No purchase necessary. Must be at least 18 years of age. One entry per person per contest or game; duplicate entries may result in disqualification from the game or contest.
2. At any point in time, listeners may opt-out of the WMEE Text Club and be removed from the database by texting “STOP”, “QUIT”, “END”, “CANCEL”, or “UNSUBSCRIBE” to the short code 46862.
3. Standard data and message rates may apply.
4. For messaging assistance, text “HELP” to 46862.
5. By participating in this contest, you acknowledge that you shall receive a text message to your phone advising you if you won/lost. This message may lead you to incur standard text messaging rates/other charges may apply consistent with your wireless carrier plan. To NOT receive this text message, text “STOP” to 46862.
6. Subscription text alerts are a recurring service; a maximum of 6 messages are sent per week. Message and data rates may apply per your carrier. All purchases have to be authorized by the account holder. Fees will appear on your wireless bill. Send "HELP" to 36617 for information, or contact support@hipcricket.com, 1-866-HIP-CRIK (866.447.2745). You must have a two way text-enabled phone with compatible carrier and plan. Compatible major carriers include Alltel Wireless, AT&T, Boost Mobile, Nextel, Sprint, T-Mobile (R), Verizon Wireless and Virgin Mobile USA. Text messaging is not available in all areas of the United States.

8. A valid email address is required for email alerts. All messages that you receive MAY include a note from a sponsor - in many cases, this is included so that we can keep the service FREE to you (outside of your carrier charges - we have no control over those!).
9. By registering for our subscription services we will use your personal information for our own internal analysis, and may occasionally send you alerts for contests and promotional events that we believe to be of interest to you. Typically, alerts will be sent no more than once per week but may vary according to our promotions and events calendar.
10. Note: Traffic, Weather and other subscription based alerts are managed by an external application provider, and as such you should refer to the TERMS and CONDITIONS for those alerts should you wish to opt out.
11. In some circumstances you will be charged more than your carrier's standard message and data rates: This is called Premium SMS or Premium Rate Text Messaging. In these circumstances, any additional charges will be clearly advertised on this website or in the text message communications we send you. Any Premium charges will appear on your next wireless bill, or be deducted from your pre-paid balance.
12. Text messaging and Premium Rate Text Messaging is not available in all areas, and on all carriers, within the United States. Contact your carrier for more specific details. An internet connection is required to access your email account. You, the subscriber, are responsible for the provision and maintenance of all facilities required to access these accounts.
13. Specific station text promotions may require contestants to be 21 years of age. A proper ID will be requested at time of prize pick-up.
14. Register-to-win games will be held with random prizes being awarded. All winners will be chosen randomly. Winners must be present to win. Decision of the judges is final.
15. Employees of WMEE, Federated Media, other radio stations, promotional sponsors, all additional sponsors and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate in WMEE contests or games. WMEE reserves the right to deny participation for any reason.
16. Winners are responsible for any prize obligation (insurance, taxes, licensing, etc.) and must meet all eligibility requirements.
17. Winners and contestants consent to allow WMEE the use of their name, voice and/or likeness for promotional advertisements for the station with no monetary or other compensation.
18. Winners must waive any and all claims of liability against WMEE and their parent company Federated Media, its subsidiaries and all respective employees and agents for any personal injury or loss which may occur from participation in the contest or from the use of any prize. Winners must sign a liability form that releases WMEE, Federated Media, its subsidiaries, other owners and related entities from any liability.
19. Winners are solely responsible for claiming their prize and/or fulfilling travel arrangements. Prizes are to be claimed at the WMEE offices during regular business hours. Any prize not claimed within a 30-day period will become property of WMEE.
20. Winners must be able to produce proper identification to claim prize. Winner is responsible for all taxes, insurance, title and any additional fees. This includes, but is not limited to, all passport and processing fees. Other restrictions may apply.
21. No cash or substitute prize will be awarded in lieu of the advertised prize. Prizes are non-transferable. If a winner cannot accept the prize as offered or he/she fails to meet eligibility requirements, he/she shall forfeit the prize and the prize will become the property of WMEE or will be awarded to another contestant.
22. Only one WMEE prize valued at $600.00 or greater may be won within a six (6) month period. Only one WMEE prize of any value may be won within a six (6) week period. All prizes won within less time than these waiting periods will be forfeited.
23. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.
24. Participants in this contest agree to the above rules, as well as, any additional rules, which may be implemented. Rules are subject to change without prior notification. Any rule changes will be published. Rules are available at the WMEE studios, 2915 Maples Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46816 during regular business hours, 8:00-5:00 Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
