Survival Tips for Black Friday – Cyber Monday

Make a Schedule — Make a list of the places you want to hit beforehand. That way, you can map out the best route to take on your mission.

Compare Credit Cards Beforehand — Be sure to know which of your cards give you the most cash back before setting out on your spree!

Collect Some Coupons —
This tactic may seem a little old school, but it will pay off big time if you come prepared. Thankfully, most stores have coupons located now on their website.

Analyze the Ads —
Make sure to really read through ads from stores to be sure a store is worth taking on the chaos.

Bring an Unmarked, Paper Bag —
If worried about safety, carry an unmarked paper bag to disguise any big purchases and ensure you will not be a target.

Be on Your Driving A-Game — Make sure to be extra alert while driving, parking can get crazy during this time.

Survival Tips For Cyber Monday:

Start Tracking Deals Early — Now is the time to start researching the best Cyber Monday deals. The best way to make sure you are getting the best bang for your buck is to know what is all out there. Knowledge is power.

Do Your Research and Sign Up for Newsletters — With many stores, such as Target, you can sign up for e-mail lists where you can receive info on upcoming Black Friday deals and Cyber Week exclusives

Make Sure to Use a Secure Connection — Nothing like prime holiday time to find yourself hacked. Be on guard of non-secure connections. Also, if you’re shopping from a tablet or smartphone on Cyber Monday, use a trusted vendor’s app, not a web browser.

Review Your Info — Review all your shipping and banking information on your orders. Double check and make sure all checks out so you don’t accidentally charge the wrong card or send to the wrong address.

Try and Not Fall for Deals Too Good to Be True — Analyze deals and remember that just because it’s a shopper’s holiday does not mean absolutely everything is a steal.

Use an App There are many apps to help you find the best deals such as Deal News, SnipSnap, SlickDeals, and Black Friday FM.
